Wonderful Treats of Oz

For kids who love to read – and those who don’t…and grown-ups, too!  Enjoy an eye-opening and endless tasty exploration of L. Frank Baum’s original Wizard of Oz. These include:

-          --A selection of the sweets and treats woven throughout the book… and others from the movie. These include green-colored candy, yummy fruit and nut mix, and, of course, a lollipop.

-        --  A keepsake card with an original book cover on the front and a description of when the treats were enjoyed in the book.

-         -- Insights into the treats people actually ate at the time (nuts were sold in the line-up of candy); and

-          A copy of the original Wonderful Wizard of Oz, to enjoy or, even, follow along.

The Wonderful Treats of Oz lit box was created by True Treats’ founder Susan Benjamin, a scholarly researcher of candy and sweets, former professor of literature and writing, and author of numerous works of fiction.
