Pecan Divinity

Divinity came to the front of leisure candies in the early 1900s. The taste is rich and sweet – in essence, divine. And that is likely where the name comes from. Exactly where the sweet originates is anyone’s guess…likely from the south given the pecans that anoint the top. Regardless, it showed up in cookbooks in the North, as well, making it a classic American candy. 4 oz. Made by Dillon of Georgia.
