DESCRIPTION

The marigold has held religious, magical, and medicinal meaning to the ancient Aztecs as well as other peoples throughout the world. The flower is enjoyed in salads and, of course, as a delicious-tasting tea whose medicinal values have been proclaimed by ancient and today’s health communities for soothing stomach problems, easing menstrual cramps, alleviating skin problems, having strong anti-inflammatory properties and more. Add one cup of boiling water to about a tablespoon of marigolds. Let steep for about five minutes and enjoy. For a twist, cool the tea and make a delicious beverage by adding the fruit juice of your choice or using in a cocktail for extra "yum."
