When you drink elderflower tea, you experience an esteemed ancient flavor enjoyed equally in ancient apothecaries, Native American tea blends, and in children’s folklore. Elderflower tea has a delicate fruity flavor, accentuated by a floral scent. Lovers of tea have referred to the elderflower tea as being “refreshing and soothing” with a slight spicy and savory accent that gives it dimension. One traditional method of preparing the Elderflower Tea was to pour boiling water over one heaped teaspoon of dried elderflowers (or one True Treats teabag) in a cup.
