Little is known of the French Creams of today - they were popular in the 1940s, although not necessarily originating in France.

A perfect example of the candy!

I bought the French creams for my mom, who has always had a fondness for them since going to the Montgomery Ward candy counter as a child. It seems like on the rare occasion you see them anymore, they're a pale recreation. This was exactly as she remembered. Thanks so much!
