Earl Grey Tea is considered the upper crust of teas and is well-deserved. Earl Grey is high- quality black tea, made even better as it’s flavored with bergamot oil. The tea has a bold taste, as you would expect from black teas, accented by the citrusy oil. It does well hot, on ice, after a meal, or at the center of a tea break or party. It has an acceptable amount of caffeine, many think it energies to the same degree as coffee, with a suitable amount of punch.

As Earl Grey is a black tea, it is rich in antioxidants which make the tea good for the heart and helps lower cholesterol and aid digestion. To make a cup of this marvelous tea, use one True Treats tea bag or teaspoon of Earl Grey loose tea and steep in a cup of boiling – or near boiling – for about five minutes, depending on taste.
