Buttermint makers describe their candy as “Unexpectedly Scrumptious.” But one newspaper piece described it even better in 1949 “These wonderful butter mints just melt in your mouth….They’re so creamy, so smooth, so pure and delicious. Buy some now for your family, for home entertaining…everyone will like them.” And indeed, they do. That’s one reason why butter mints were among the top candies restaurants offered customers after a meal. Comes with the buttermint story and an historical image on the label!
